About

"Now it came to pass, afterward, that [Jesus] went through every city and village, preaching and bringing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God. And the twelve were with Him, and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities--Mary called Magdalene, out of whom had come seven demons, and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others who provided for Him from their substance."      Luke 8:1-3
“. . . women who labored with me in the gospel, . . . and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.”           Philippians 4:3

Many of the disciples mentioned in the New Testament were women.  Each one given to the Lord within her own sphere of influence.  Some, however, had committed themselves to leaving all, counting the cost to follow Jesus, "providing for Him from their substance."

Paul, himself, commended women who "labored with him in the gospel" counting them as worthy to have their names "written in the book of life."

Since the beginning of her ministry here at Calvary Chapel Perris Valley our pastor's wife's mission has been to disciple women who  desire to walk in the steps of those biblical disciples.

"Ordinary women desiring to please God, determined to Follow Christ, and dedicated to be set apart for extraordinary service."
