Since the 2011 tsunami hit northern Japan we have been sending mission teams.  First it was for relief but now it has been a church plant.  Calvary Chapel Ishinomaki began as a cafe where people could come and find rest during the recovery and relief efforts.  Today it continues as a cafe but also where regular Bible Studies and other ministry continue. 

We will again be send a team to serve in Ishinomaki after a few days in Tokyo assisting Calvary Chapel Kokobunji.
