Since 2011 after the earthquake and tsunami that took so many lives we have been sending teams to minister in Ishinomaki. It began as relief efforts and continues today as a church plant and cafe that reaches out to the community that continues to recover. This blog provides information on previous trips and upcoming trips with bios and testimonies from team members.
We to work with work with Cross to Light Ministries. Cross to Light is a bible training center that focuses on providing discipleship and evangelism training to Haitian men desiring to become pastors and return to their communities to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They also help build church community centers that extend relief to people in need by providing food, water, clothing and medical assistance.
Our team have multiple opportunities to serve including bible teaching, orphan assistance and community events such as soccer, Vacation Bible School and feeding programs. We may also be assisting on campus with food preparation, facility repair and construction, and grounds maintenance.
Keep up with the latest information of upcoming trips and the mission.
